
Designer, founder of the “Tasnif” studio, former journalist
Lazizbek Hamidov was born in 1989 in Uchqo‘rg‘on district, Namangan region. He studied journalism at the National University of Uzbekistan (2006–2010) and then worked at the newspapers “Soliq info” and “XXI asr” before joining the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA).
In 2014 he left journalism to study design. He founded “Tasnif”, a computer-graphics design studio, and the design school of the same name; in a 2022 interview he said the studio employed 15–20 people with monthly turnover of 300–400 million soum. He created and hosts the YouTube project “Ular” and is associated with the “Bemalol” podcast. On his Telegram channel he comments on education, transport, urban development, the economy and technology.
A Lolazor resident since the first season, he most often takes the floor on education, design, YouTube and city life.
